For us, sustainability is not a trend – it is the foundation of our actions. At Stein-Alt: The Cosy Cottage, we consider our environment with every product and every decision we make.

📦 Shipping & Packaging

Wherever possible, we ship in reused boxes and use newspaper instead of plastic film for cushioning. This gives packaging a second life – while still providing reliable protection.

🌿 Largely plastic-free products

Our decorations and home accessories are consciously selected: plastic-free wherever possible. We rely on materials that look good and are good for the world. We trust in natural raw materials such as wood, metal, cotton, and wool – materials that are timeless, durable, and in harmony with nature.

🪑 Antique furniture instead of new goods

An antique piece of furniture has history – and saves resources. Much of what we do revolves around antique and vintage furniture, as well as decorations and home accessories with character. Instead of producing new things, we give existing pieces a place of honor in your home.

🌱 Natural raw materials

All our products are made from natural materials as much as possible: wood, linen, ceramics, glass, and metal – without unnecessary additives.
