Protection Classes:

1. Luminaires with this symbol are connected to the mains with a yellow-green wire, which is connected to the protective earthing terminal.
2. For the safe operation of luminaires with this marking, connection to the yellow-green earth wire is not required.
3. Luminaires with this marking can only be operated with a small safe voltage. Connection is only possible to the SELV circuit.

• IP protection:
• IPx1 - the product is protected against dripping water.
• IPx3 - the product can be exposed to raindrops (drops falling at a maximum angle of 60° to the vertical surface).
• IPx4 - the product is splash-proof: it can be exposed to splashing water from any direction (360°).
• IPx5 - the product is protected against water jets.
• IPx7 - the product can be installed on the ground.
• IPx8 - the product is protected against immersion up to the depth specified by the manufacturer.
• IP5x - the product is partially protected against the ingress of dust.
• IP6x - the product is completely protected against the ingress of dust.
